The building works are carrying on and final pieces of internal works are being completed.

The stairs and corridor to the Duke Street entrance has now been completed. All the corridor ends have now been tied in and plastered.

The lift is now fully installed and will be commissioned in the next two weeks. There are some small infills being completed on the door edges.

The rooms are 95% completed on the ground floor. First, second and third floors are complete with just snagging and small areas remaining.

Fourth fifth and sixth-floor rooms are 90% complete

All footpaths have been reinstated and the fire alarm has been installed.

One unit is still in process of completing with elevation with final pieces of cladding needed to be fitted. Following that te scaffolding can come down in the courtyard.

Completion is on track for August 2019.

Interior of the building 80% Complete

We are now in the final stages of closing off the building with the first 4 floors now having there second coat of paint and Glossing of the Skirting Boards and window cills
All the bath rooms have now been installed up to the 4th Floor and work has started on the final two floors which leaves just 15 rooms to complete with Bathrooms and Kitchens
Iron Mongery has been fitted to all front doors and internal doors.on the first 4 floors
The corridor lights and first coat painting has been completed up till the 4th Floor
The lift is onsite and due to be installed this month

External building 85% Complete

There are small elements of cladding which is currently being completed
All 4 pods are now built and 70% cladder
All the infills have been done where scaffolding has penetrated the building.
Electrical services have started to be commissioned and signed off
There is a small amount of scaffolding on the 4th Floor terrace which is due to be removed this week
The footpath has now been reinstated
We are expecting completion of the building and sign off early Q2 2019

This summary covers work completed up until 22nd November 2018 .

49 Kitchens have been fitted and bathroom corridor lights are going to be completed by Tuesday next week.
All corridors are now plastered and the entrance hall is boarded.
The windows are getting plated and capped and will be completed by Tuesday at the front of the building and the back section will be completed by the end of next week. The cladding on the front of the building will be completed by Tuesday.
The elevation is currently being installed in the back and as soon as complete the first three floors are expected to be snagged and signed off by end of next week.
Scaffolding is down and the building is taking shape and is looking fantastic.
Completion target has been amended to end of January.

This summary cover work completed up till the end of August 2018

90% of all external windows have been fitted and the Culrtain walling and windows are 50% complete
The Kitchens have now started to be fitted with over 20 rooms complete, along with the skirting boards and doors have started to be fitted.
The mechanical contractors have now powered up the building with all the mains installed lighting and switches are currently being installed in to all rooms.CCTV has been installed and working.
The internal walls are all currently being plastered and the painter is working through the rooms on first and second coat the corridors have started to be closed off ready for plastering.
The front facade has now been refurbished and the scaffolding is due to be dismantled.
Drainage is fully installed and the building has been fully pressure text all has been signed
The building is starting to be closed down with ground to 4 th floor nearly complete.
The external brick work is 90% complete with the final bricks getting laid . The cladding has is now on site and is currently being installed this will be completed in the next 3 weeks.
Shower units and sanitary ware has started to be installed
Council Building control have been regularly on site and been happy with the quality of the workmanship and all fire protections have been adhered to every individual apartment is being checked and signed off.

The curtain walling is now going in along with the cladding all windows have been fitted.
Apartments are starting to get skimmed ready for the skirting and doors to be fitted.
Balconies have been installed.
Main electrics have been brought into the building with distribution boards all completed.
The pluming has been completed on levels 0-5 and the boilers have started to be installed the first 30 boilers have been installed.
The painter is due to start painting all rooms and corridors W/C 25th June.
The Cladding is starting this Monday.

Main Points:

The final two floors on the block are now under construction.
The internal walls have been set out and are under construction.
The steel has now been fire treated.

RopeWalks | Development Progress 31/07/2017

This update about the development progress of RopeWalks in Liverpool is dated from 31/07/2017. We’re very excited to say that the first 3 stories of the steel frame have been erected! It’s starting to slowly look like a building instead of just a dig site with foundations in place. The metal decking has been installed on the ground floor, first and second floor. The decking has now been stud welded and the concrete is being poured the first week in August. Now we’ll really start to see the building take shape as the foundations are in place.

The developer is currently on target to meet the end of December projected completion date and they have brought in some more contractors to fit in with this time frame. Great news!

Main Points:

The drainage and ground slab is now underway and is expected to be completed in the next three weeks.
The dryliners and M&E teams will be appointed the first week in August, and are due to start August 14th.
The final 3 floors are due to be erected. The roofing contractor can then install the roof along with the relevant solar panels, which will make the building more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

The first phase will be completed at the end of this month.
