Aquitania | Development Progress 05/02/2024
Dear Investors,
We are pleased to provide the latest update on the construction progress at West Waterloo Place. This update highlights significant milestones achieved and outlines the forthcoming stages of development.
Piling Work: All piling related to the dock wall and combi wall has been completed for the current phase for Aquitania (Block C). Future works in these areas will resume at a later stage of the project.
Concrete Walls: The construction of concrete walls has completed for both Aquitania and Mauretania. We await final connection detail to the Isle of Man (IOM) ferry terminal link and these works will continue at a later stage as part of the projects’ progression.
Block C Developments: The rotary piling for Block C was completed early November. Ground beams, pile caps and concrete completed in December.
Steel Frame Erection for Block C: We have the begun the erection phase of the steel frame. This process is expected to take approximately 6 to 8 weeks and on track to meet our completion target between the end of February to mid March.
Upcoming work: The subsequent phases of the project will include:
• Installation of the metal deck and concreting of the floor levels
• Scaffold construction for the external walls
• Implementation of drainage systems
• Construction of ground floor slabs
• External wall build-up
• Window installation
We aim to achieve water tightness for the entire structure by August, a crucial milestone in the project’s timeline.
Anticipated completion dates for Aquitania and Mauretania:
Aquitania is anticipated to complete by the end of the first quarter (Q1) in 2025. Our team has been diligently working to ensure that all phases of construction align with our schedule, and we are confident in meeting this target.
As of now, the developer is aiming for a Q1 2026 completion date for the Mauretania project. This timeline allows us to maintain a high standard of construction quality and attention to detail throughout the project’s development. They will continue to adhere to stringent safety protocols and comply with all local construction regulations to ensure the safety of our workers and the surrounding community.

We are pleased to provide the latest update on the construction progress at West Waterloo Place. This update highlights significant milestones achieved and outlines the forthcoming stages of development.
Piling: The rotary piling for Block C was completed early November. Ground beams, pile caps and concrete completed in December.
Steel frame: Erected and Completed and fire paint to steel frame in progress.
Metal Deck: Metal deck install in progress and 80% complete with stud welding completed to 50%.
Concrete floors: Works commenced currently 10% complete.
Below ground drainage: Drainage installed and completed.
Below ground masonry: Blockwork completed.
Ground floor slab: Ground floor slab insulated, and mesh re-enforcement completed.
Tanking: Waterproofing to the lift pit completed.
Handrails: Safety Handrails to the perimeter envelope of the building in progress.
March upcoming works will entail:
• First delivery of external brick on-site.
• Steel Formed System delivery and installation.
• Scaffold for the external works to commence.
• Internal walls to commence.
• M&E distribution to commence.
The developer aim to achieve water tightness for the entire structure by August, a crucial milestone in the project’s timeline.
Aquitania is anticipated to complete by the end of Q1 2025.
Aquitania | Development Progress September 2024
We’re thrilled to bring you the latest updates on the exciting progress at West Waterloo Place. Every day, we’re getting closer to delivering beautiful waterfront apartments, right in the heart of Liverpool’s vibrant Central Docks. Here’s a quick look at the latest developments as of September: External Progress Brickwork: Our bricklayers are moving fast! They’ve now reached the 7th floor on both the North and South sides, while the East and West elevations have reached the 6th floor.
Scaffolding & Forklifts: To keep the brickwork on track, scaffolding has been raised, and our trusty 26m forklifts are keeping the site running smoothly.
Cladding: The cladding around the 8th floor is nearly finished, with the primary installation done and panel installations set to begin later this month.
Roofing: All roof alterations are complete! The roofing contractor is scheduled to finish up the roof covering and install the man-safe system and abseil posts by the week of September 23rd.
Windows: A special delivery! The stunning arched windows arrived on site on Friday, September 13th, and we can’t wait to see them in place.
Internal Progress Drywall & First Fix: The first-fix drywall for the 8th floor and Duplex apartments is done, while floors 2, 3, and 4 have been fully closed up. Work on the 5th floor is scheduled to start this week.
Walls & M&E: On Level 1, the walls are up and the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) internal distribution is complete. The Duplex apartments’ walls are also first-fixed, ready for M&E installation.
M&E Installation: The M&E work is all set on the 8th floor and beginning in the Duplex apartments, while the second-fix is progressing nicely on the 6th floor and making its way down to the 2nd. Construction Update: September Progress at West Waterloo Place
Plastering & Painting: Skim plastering is complete on the 4th floor, and the mist coat painting has begun. Floors 2 and 3 are completely plastered, and f inish painting has officially started on Level 2!
Tiling & Joinery: Tiling has been finished on the 2nd floor and is well underway on the 3rd. Joinery fit-outs are also completed on the 2nd floor, now moving upwards.
Looking Ahead As we wrap up September, we’re moving full steam ahead with even more exciting updates on the way.
